McLean Council

The McLean Area Regional Council consists of an eager group of men and women in the Bloomington-Normal area who are charged with promoting Make-A-Wish in their community through event-based fundraising and volunteerism. Make-A-Wish Foundation volunteers Trisha Tattini, Dr. Chad Tattini and Sherry Orgler with the Outstanding Philanthropic Organization award they received at the 26th annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon sponsored by the Central Illinois Association of Fundraising Professionals on November 18, 2009.

The McLean Area Regional Council Sing for Wishes Committee received the award for their outstanding fundraising efforts for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. This event raised more than $25,000 in 2009 to grant wishes to children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Watch this space for news about the 2010 Celebrity Sing For Wishes event.
