Trevor
Adventure In The Everglades
Trevor, an adventurous 10-year-old from German Valley, shows enthusiasm in everything he does, from snacking on his mom's caramel corn to cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. He likes to play Nintendo DS and watch Star Wars, and his favorite color is red. Trevor's family describes him as energetic, outgoing, and outspoken.
Trevor was diagnosed in 2008 with Craniopharyngioma, a type of brain tumor that often causes such symptoms as headaches and nausea. Trevor hasn't complained and has remained bold and upbeat.
Trevor combined his love of family and his desire for exploration and discovery when he wished to visit a place that offered a "Jurassic Park" sort of adventure near his cousins in Naples, Florida. He specifically wished to go to the Everglades and take an airboat tour, and through the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Trevor's wish was granted.
A limousine whisked Trevor and his family away to the airport to begin their Florida adventure, where they experienced the Everglades from both a tour bus and an airboat. They also spent some family time at a fun park to complete their week of family fun and exploration. For Trevor, it was the epic adventure of a lifetime, and one that he will not soon forget.

Many doctors tell us that a wish is powerful medicine. The doctors provide the medicine and we provide the magic!
